Deuce2 AL - a chilly 34 in AL, but is it sunny? Here in Nantes, France it is gloomy and gray and Marty doesn't like that! He's pouting. Me too. It's been this way for too long. But at least they put up the Christmas lights right outside our windows.

Hey Charcoal and Irishgirl. Yeah, I left renegade off when I made the transition.
I also need to put it back. Will it have an adverse effect on anything here?

Snowy here in Jämtland, Sweden... and grey. Not too cold, -5 degrees C (help can't do F thingumy measurements), but I think there's some wild weather brewing.

I think you can go back to being a renegade without worrying about it...

Sounds cozy Brit - if you don't have to go outside.

Does anybody know if indeed Sarah has finally left the pool in Fla and headed back to Wasilla? What is she up to?

Ah, Deuce2, it sounds like those beautiful winters I knew growing up in Fla - chilly and sunny. How I loved that.

Does anyone know how to remove that modify icon in the corner of my posts?
Appreciate the assistance. Grin

Deuce, it's only you that can see it on your posts - no one can modify anyone else's but we can modify our own... I think.

I lived in Gainesville for 22years. Never forget that wonderful weather.
At this moment, I am 720 miles from G'ville. It is now 46 and sunny there. I
understand it feels like 43.

Good morning, everyone,

I'm sitting here enjoying my cup of coffee - just finished reading through the entire thread. Some heavy stuff today. I hope everyone is ok. It's amazing that mudflats has spawned this virtual support group!

Deuce2 -

My son's dream is to go to U of F in Gainesville (actually we can only afford to send him to state school in Fla if he heads to the US for college, and that school is now the best in Fla).

It's chilly there also. 35 if I am not mistaken. Enjoy  your coffee and keep
warm.

It is chilly here, and we might even get snow flurries. My kids would love that!

Unfortunately we are a little house-bound since my youngest son has a mild case of chicken pox! Good thing one of my best friends is a pediatrician or I would not even have realized he had it.

Thanks Irishgirl, will do that soon. @Jamie, U of F is the best. Shands teaching hospital is
probably the best in the US. Have you tried for some type of scholarship?

Yikes, I thought I'd start at page four and catch up that way, but then there was something about Tiredmom, but I didn't know what so I went back and zoomed through.

Hugs to you tiredmom, not easy doing all that we do.  Glad you have someplace to vent.

Some one asked about Palin and Pool, did you all see that the picture that was posted awhile ago made it to Huffington Post?
