One DAY, One KNIGHT, An entire KINGDOM

« Reply #44 on: November 21, 2008, 01:04:14 pm »

Tired Mom My thoughts and prayers are going out for you and your loving husband. I too
lit a candle for you & your family amid thoughtful prayer.
Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now. I am asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading. Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You. Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage. Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.

In Love, Your Friend

Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend will bless you both. Passing this on to one not considered a friend is something Christ would do.

assistance manuerving the vast expanses of this wonderful internet WORLD WEBSITE,
please do not hesitate to ask one of the, technically challenged advanced individuals-such as myself-don't include me amongst them-for their invaluable assistance.

Welcome bubbles! And also welcome to new members BornOkaytheFirstTime and alaskaliberal, who may still be trying to figure out which forum to post on first. This one's good! So is the "Introduce Yourself" one. Also, there are a bunch of others that are fun! Welcome

asiangrrl Where in the  Devil are you? Someone mentioned that you were probably offline.
I had no idea, just thought your light had burned out in your offline-online thingy. Considering how
bright you appear to be, I figured you had sucked the life light right out of that lamp. It's a strength thing, 'causeeeeeeeeeeee, you are going to need all you can muster if you want to catch
me.

Talking about finding your way around ( Welcome bubbles) wasn't there a thread called something like "How to cope with the financial mess."?

I have an article from the Times: When we’re living on boiled squirrel we should turn to Tolstoy, not trash
that I wanted to post there, but I'm beginning to wonder if it was all a figment of my imagination.... Huh?

I thought the idea of pardoning a turkey was something SP had invented herself; it is certainly a stupid enough idea.  But then I heard that Pres. Bush does this every year.  That makes sense, too, though, as he is a dim bulb himself.  Pardons are for convicted criminals; what crime has a turkey ever committed?  : )  Of course, turkeys aren't known for being especially brainy, either.  Maybe Bush and Palin feel comfortable pallin' around with turkeys; birds of a feather....

President Kennedy was the first prez to spare the White House turkey.  Pres. Bush the First began the official turkey pardon ceremony, which Clinton and Bush the Second continued.  What I found weird about Palin's pardon (in addition to the total bizarreness of every aspect of that event) was that she was copying a presidential ceremony - only with more blood.
