I've been following Mudflats for a while now and thought I'd come over to the forums to say hi and see how many fellow Alaskans were here.

Have the cruise ships started adding Wasilla as a day trip yet? Seriously. There is great interest in the lower 48.

Welcome     Hi, AK Mama!  How long have you been in Wasilla? What's your favorite thing about Wasilla? I'm from SC - too far away for a day trip!

Hi, from Mary in Anchorage.... are you aware of the gathering (Anchorage Mudstock)  soon? Would be great to have you join us.   2nd Saturday in Dec. at MiddleWay cafe near Title Wave, 2 pm.   There is a thread with more details, but I am unsure how else to direct you in this maze of a site.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I've been in Wasilla for a little over a year, but I've been up here for most of my life. McGrath, Fairbanks, Anchorage, Outside for a while and now back up to stay. The Valley is a nice place to live for a lot of reasons, but being pro-Obama out here can get ugly (I went to a few of the rallies on the corner of Parks and Crusey)

I'm going to be out of town for the Mudstock in Anchorage, otherwise I'd be there. Maybe we can have another one sometime soon!

Welcome from a muddie in Eagle River!

Here's a link to the Alaskan readers of mudflats:

http://www.themudflats.net/forum/index.php/topic,3753.0.html

Hope we'll all get to meet someday.  Maybe at another Alaskans for Truth rally as we try to help our Gov on her way out the door that has EXIT over it.

                             HELLO AK MAMA Welcome
So glad you found your way to the forum. Hope to "see" you around and would love to hear about how you are enjoying Wasilla. We outsiders are learning all we can about Alaska as it has became quite the topic.  Smiley
