I went back to photoshop and saved at 400 pixels wide at 75 dpi, seems to have worked.

Thanks. I should know this, but it has been a while since I posted pics.  Smiley

Yes, but how do you actually upload the file to the forum? That's what I've been searching for without success.

Thanks   Smiley

I don't think you can actually upload an image to the mudflats forum.  We don't have file storage like that, to my knowledge.

What people do instead is create their own file storage area on Photobucket, or Flickr, or whatever site offers that service.  I use Photobucket, which offers free file hosting, with way more capacity than I'll ever use.  Easy to use, too.

Then you link to that image in this form.

But it all starts with an online place to store your images.  They do have to be yours, btw.  Or at least ones for which there's no question that it's okay to use it (I posted images from some government site, and that seemed to be okay).

If you need a run through on how to post a link to an image, it's probably already in the forum, or many of us can walk you through it.

Moles, here are the guidelines for posting an image:

(I think Sister Artemis must have cleared it up for you as I see you've posted an image- but for more info, try the links)  Thanks Sister A  Cheesy
