Hello all,

I find it amazing that no one can seem to find the actual birth records ... hmmm
As a mom, I know there is no way a fifth pregnancy labor, with water broken, would take long enough to get from TX to AK.
My water broke at 8:30 with my 2nd baby, doctor said come to hospital immediately, my labor was slow at first and doc became very concerned about a "dry birth". When he mentioned inducing around 1030, labor suddenly started up and baby was born 3 hours later.
SWWNBN's story just doesn't jive on so many levels. The new photo of her in March 08, certainly doesn't look like a pregnant woman. Her face doesn't look pregnant, you moms know what I mean... and why aren't there personal pregnancy photos of her, taken by her family or friends? Photos that could easily end all the rumors and inplications? lAm I the only woman who took photos to show my child later what they looked like before they were born? She's the governor..... don't photogs for local media tend to take pics on a regular basis of a state leader?  Jeesh! That woman!

As much as i would love to wake up one day to hard evidence that Sarah Palin has been caught in a career ending lie, I really wish she would just go away.  i pray that the national obsession with her ends soon, and she and her family can fade away into obscurity. I look forward to the day when all subjects regarding Sarah Palin are relegated to small footnotes in articles about important things.

In the post of yours which was deleted, you stated who you felt was Trig's mother.

Actually, I don't think I stated... I laid out some known dates and events and if I recall, I posed a question.  I don't know who birthed the infant that got carried around on stage during the Republican convention and subsequent rallies.  I would like to know.

Is there a difference between saying, "Is it possible that ShoelaceFlowerPotTurkeybone WastecanTigerQuarterJar is the [mother/father] of ...."  versus "I'm saying that ShoelaceFlowerPotTurkeybone WastecanTigerQuarterJar parented ..." 

Of course there is.  And no offense to anyone whose real name might be ShoelaceFlowerPot etc.

I will be, and have tried to be, careful about declaring anything as truth unless I know for a fact that it is so.  But I think there is an oversensitivity on this topic, an erring on the side of excessive caution, that is stifling what could be meaningful discussion and discovery on a topic that goes to the heart of who this Alaskan politician really is -- you know, the one who got thrust on all of us back in August.

Be that as it may.  I certainly do not want to do anything that may cause trouble or harm to AKM, or the fine folks who run and moderate the forums here.

I am hopeful you can understand that we are just trying to make the forums a good place, not somewhere ya'all can get sued for expressing an opinion about who parented a child.

I think this stems from the fact that in Alaska birth records are not a matter of public record as they are in many (or most) other states.

I'm sure the Alaskans here will correct me if I'm wrong!

It is the case that copies of birth certificates can only be requested by the parents or the birthee in Alaska, so is it unlikely that anyone else is going to be able to gain access to the records of the birth.

From the Alaska Bureau of Vital Statistic's page http://www.hss.state.ak.us/dph/bvs/default.htm:

The Alaska Bureau of Vital Statistics is responsible for managing vital records in the State of Alaska which include birth, death, fetal death, divorce and marriage certificate data, along with reports of adoption.

Under Alaska law, all Vital Statistics records are strictly confidential until they become public records. Births become public records 100 years after the event; deaths, marriages, and divorces become public records 50 years after the event.

Certified copies of vital event certificates are available by choosing a link under Certificates at the right. Please be advised that copies are available only for those events which have occurred in Alaska.

I just have to respond to the post re having more children so they can get a higher welfare check

I have heard this so many times over the years...but have you ever really looked into how much of an increase it would be?  It is sooooo small that no one in their right mind would have a child just to get say $50.00 more a month

I have worked with people on welfare for years....I live in a state where our welfare benefits are higher than most other states...and we have it in our state constitution to always take care of the poor so the people on welfare can not be denied benefits after two years...which was in the welfare reform act...still in all my years of working with the poor I have NEVER met any person who had a child so they could collect more money

I will admit there are some, very very few, who do work the system.  they know exactly what benefits they can get and what to do to continue to receive them.  But these are far and few between.

Most of the people in my county that are on welfare first are children, and secondly are WORKING full time...just a very low wages.  Many others there is a good reason why they are on welfare...like being mentally challenged. 

If you want to go after people on welfare...first go after all the corporate welfare in our country...they get way more than poor families trying just to get by

I've had oodles of people asking me what's going on with the pregnancy, and all I can say is....we wait.

Before ya'all get into this topic, can I please remind you of the following..

Any speculation regarding the actual parents of Trig could get both AKMuckraker and the forums into legal hot water.

While it is fine to discuss whether or not Palin was pregnant and whether or not she gave birth, can we please request that you refrain from naming specific people who might actually be the parents of Trig.

We will delete on sight posts that say "I think XX is the father" or "XX is the mother". This is not only to protect us but also to protect you, because the person you name could actually choose to sue you for defamation.

If you need more information on this, you can read this thread, or PM the Admins.

Please understand, we are not trying to stifle discussion, but if you were some bloke up in Alaska, say your name was MoustacheHeadacheCatTree FoghatTurkeyWolfpawLamp and you googled your name only to find a post on mudflats as the number one result and a post that said "MoustacheHeadacheCatTree FoghatTurkeyWolfpawLamp is the father of Trig Palin" - and you were not the father of Trig, your first stop would be a lawyer to find out how to remove that from the internet search results (and also how you might be able to get some cash for your troubles as well).

So it is fine to say "I don't think Sarah is the mother" or "I don't think Todd is the father" but please do not speculate on who could be the parents. I hope that makes sense.

Most women go into labor between their 37th week of pregnancy and their 42nd week. Even if your due date was two weeks ago, most health care professionals wait until 42 weeks' gestation before considering a pregnancy overdue. If your or your baby's health seems to be compromised, though, then there will be some extra pressure to have labor induced or have a cesarean section performed before this time. Talk with your doctor or midwife to see if labor induction is the best decision for you.

For healthy moms and babies, some health care providers may offer to let you continue your pregnancy after 42 weeks. However, most will usually suggest medically inducing labor once you hit the magical 4-2.

Well just taking a rough estimate, because we have no idea of the exact dates involved, the 37th week should have been on the 20th or there abouts. That's when the story was told the baby was due. So if that is when it was due then the 42nd week would be Jan. 20th....lol inaguaration day. How funny.

If a lady you've met at a supermarket  said she can run 40 miles in under a minute, give birth while doing it and her babies can talk  starting the minute they're born, you wouldn't believe her would you?

Now Sarah Palin  is saying that she traveled 12 hours from Texas to Wasilla before giving birth to a one month premature DS baby, the baby was discharged from the hospital the same day (apparently he did not need any tests and stuff, normal preterm human babies are not discharged the same day with or without the DS) and was pictured with his mommy 5 days later in Juneau??!! How did a one month premature five days old DS baby traveled to Juneau from Wasilla?

So either all Palin's are super humans or we're watching a really badly written Disney movie.

Palin Deception blog says the picture that "proves"  preggers was photohopped. they have a expert and several people commented on the oddness of the head other photgraphic stuff, there is a whole pdf analyzing it. Also I've seen the vid. that someone talked about here early on in the thread and have questions about it, for example, when did "she" start running? From her early days she's always been chubby at least face wise, in this vid she looks chubby face wise but her body doesn't move the way a pregnant persons would. Also looked padded on the top/back area. So maybe she just started her "running" recently hence the" thrash the guts" remark, also for someone who runs she seems pretty out of breath talking while walking? During the campaign she was very thin, probably her thinnest it seems.
Some one on PD comments added this and this and they seem very similar in appearance????

I read that Palin Deception blog and I have to say some of the things which are being said are just such major assumptions. I'm not going to copy and paste them all, but there's this one which jumped right out at me re an image of Palin standing next to an interviewer on this post -

Fourth - and this was something that the expert brought up on his own (I had asked him only to look at the photos at the pixel level) in Image 1, Gov. Palin's body position seems, in his word, "peculiar." Many others have noted this. She is simply not facing where she should be if this picture is what it represents itself to be - a still shot of a news interview in progress. Even if, while Gusty was speaking, Palin's attention was drawn to something off camera and she glanced away, her body should still be facing the camera person squarely. But Palin's body is facing down the hall, quite nearly away from the cameraman, her expression almost unfocused. She does not appear in any way to be part of the action around her.

It looks to me like the reporter is doing an intro, and Palin is standing by waiting to be interviewed.

Some of this stuff is such a matter of interpretation.. and frankly it seems to be that to be so obsessed over it is a bit nutty. I have said before, I have come to the decision to accept that Trig is Sarah's baby *unless and until* it can be conclusively proven otherwise. And by that I probably mean the doctor coming out and speaking, or something along those lines.

There are so many other deceptions to discuss, this one seems unworthy.

 Barbie's been pretty quiet this week, for some reason, and speaking of her running, you know you always see pics of "celebs" running/exercising, I know I'm calling her a celeb, but doncha think someone in Wasilla could make a mint if they were just out at the right time to catch her "running"? I mean I've seen pics of even Madonna, running & cycling, how come none of Celeb guv?

Well the above link(pic on flick) to a hosp. in Alaska, the baby in question is a Boy, but this hosp in Anchorage...so, I think it is not a lead at all...but what a coincidence?
Poor Bristol, gotta be feeling awful, I know I was the last few weeks of being preg. at 17 1/2!
I hope they give some of the "loot" that they got to charity for women who's mom aren't famous and that are 17 and preggars.  It is not a great position to be in.

That is why there is an organization with very deep pockets working on this story in Alaska, and will break the real story in mid-October (too late to get another VP). I heard the key was a large payment to a nurse at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, who was very worried about her safety. They are going to nail Dr. Cathy Baldwin-Johnson for insurance fraud and some other stuff (medical ethics, faking documents.
