Not sure what state fits, although I'm currently living in the high desert of California, on the edge of the desert near Barstow although without the drugs. Retired soldier, peripatetic scholar-poet-musician who pays the bills by doing the human resources management thing for GINORMOUS DEFENSE CONTRACTOR. Kinda, sorta married; spouse, three cats and a significant other who isn't speaking to me. Which is fine.

Came to Mudflats at the beginning of the Troopergate deal, and enjoy the vision of something a bit more "retail" in politics than the "big box" of the places I've lived lately. I have started to wonder if Palin's energy and sparkling eyes might be due to crystal meth...

Normally hang out over at www.thedefeatists.com -- a collective blog of left-libertarian-anarchist-types. Most of my brothers are involved with www.theguysfromarea51.com as well. Since I seem to have the only real job, one is enough.

Ok, the best way to describe the Defeatists is that before McCain became totally delusional and selected the Alaskan Circe as his running mate, we endorsed Cthulhu and Candidate for Life Benito Guiliani for President and Vice Generalissimo. One of my more recent posts discusses the use of leprechaun testicles as a cure for inflation in Zimbabwe...
