This is the sequel to Show Us Your Pets II which was getting pretty long and, with that, slow-loading.

Post away  Cheesy  I don't think that we can ever have enough mudpet pictures!

The thing about whippets is, they photograph primarily in one of two modes: asleep, or running like the wind. This is not a surprise.

Here's the rare in-beteen shot:

Here's what whippets do best:

And the other mode:

It's a breathtaking thing to see.

There _ I've done my part to get this thread headed to overload!

Way too complicated to post pictures on this site.  There are easier systems on other sites. I wish this were more user friendly.

WakeUpAmerica:  There are several ways to post photos here.  The easiest is to simply paste a link that we can click on to see the photos.

If you'd like the photo to appear within the comment, then the system requires that you use a photo hosting site.  There are several free hosting sites on the internet....but many of our members use Photobucket.  Here's some links to "how-to" threads:

The Mod Team's here to help...just send any of us a PM, and we'll be happy to help you post your photos.  We want to see your pets!

PM? What's that?  Really, I am not a computer moron, but I'm feeling more and more inept here.

PM is private message and you can get to your PM box by clicking the word messages at the top of the screen where it welcomes you, under the large picture and the list of links (this is from mine: Hey, Charcoal Sniper P., you have 21 messages, 0 are new. )

WakeUpAmerica, I just sent you a PM, so that you can see how that works (it's hard to know what is going on without an example to look at).   Welcome

My darling miniature schnauzer, Connor, passed away this evening. He was 12 years old yesterday.  He'd been sick for a while and we knew the end was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier.

I just had to tell someone - I knew you guys would understand.

Thanks for listening.

I'm sure Connor brought a lot of joy and delight to you and your family.....and that he enjoyed every moment of it.

Thanks for sharing him with us....

Susan - I'm so sorry to hear Connor has passed away. Losing a much loved pet is never easy, not even when you know it is going to happen.

WakeUpAmerica - if you're still having troubles after the instructions people sent, let me know and I will PM you my email address so you can send me the photos and I can put them up for you.

This forum is actually one of the easiest and simplest ones out there - there's a lot of reasons why we chose to use it.  Smiley

Susan,

I am so sorry to hear about Connor.  Our pets have such an important role in our lives and it's never easy to lose them... even when we know it's the right thing to let them go.  It may not be much comfort now, but please know that you gave him a great life filled with love (and tennis balls).

Oh, Susan, my sympathies to you and your family at your loss.  What a darling dog.  He looks just like a gray version of a black one in our neighborhood (don't know how Angus feels about tennis balls though).  My dear friends in grad school had a giant one that they lost a couple of years ago, and I still miss him, even though he wasn't mine and I hadn't seen him since 1996.
