Probably a lot of you are asking yourselves that this morning.. Wink So here's a few answers.

I'm 33, from the South Coast of Sydney, Australia. A couple of hours or so drive from Sydney, depending on how fast you drive. I live with a partner and two kitties.

I work from home hosting blogs for fellow bloggers, I am also involved with another set of forums for bloggers which looks amazingly like this one except without the Moose. I do a fair bit of blog design work in the process of hosting blogs and I enjoy that a lot, playing with color and fonts. I guess I'm reasonably technical when it comes to the web, but I am not someone that it comes naturally to, it is a bit of work for me to learn to do new things. Smiley

I am also a Community Organiser with actual responsibilities. Smiley

TV-wise, I am a huge fan of The Deadliest Catch, Dexter and Michael C Hall, as well as The West Wing. Yes, we get a lot of American TV shows here in Australia.

I've been on the web a long time and I've had interests in a lot of areas, one of those being baiting Nigerian scammers. I have been a bit too busy for that lately though. You can read more about me at my blog.

Politically, I am not very partisan. I generally tend to swing to the side which I believe is right on the most amount of issues when it is time to vote. If I were in the US, I already know I would be voting for Obama - not just because I have serious concerns about McCain's age and also about Sarah Palin's readiness, but because I agree with a lot of his intended policies. I did not vote for Labor (the party currently in power here) because I strongly disagreed with them on spending around 5 billion on Broadband in Australia - to get pretty much what we have now. And I note our new Prime Minister is rarely in the country these days. Sad

So welcome to The Mudflats, and I hope you enjoy the forums!

Sadly no.. but I can see -

a soccer field (therefore I am a soccer expert)
a hairdresser (therefore I can cut hair and stuff)
a veterinarian (therefore I can save animals)
a doctor (therefore I can save lives)
a butcher (I don't even want to think about what that means I can do)
a real estate agent (therefore I can sell you a house)
the sea (therefore I can save whales)

Basing all of the above on Sarah Logic. Wink

Plus trees, kangaroos, birds and stuff Smiley

Snoskred--from the bottom of my heart, thank you for "organizing our community" you wonderful, contributing community organizer, you! Wink

Personally, I wanted to suggest calling SWWNBN (She Who Will Not Be Named) "Dingo" since she would probably eat her young if it would advance her future LOL

Hi Snoskred,
Posted a few minutes ago but it has ended up in cyberspace. (Otherwise you'll end up with a duplicate post). Thanks for this new forum. You're a star. Never knew you were an Aussie. I was born there, about 100 miles from Sydney, the other side of the Blue Mountains. Moved to Ireland when I was a teenager. Congratulations to you and Mucky for this fantastic site.

Hi,Snoskred,

You did a great job on the forum.  AKM must be somewhat dazed that her lovely blog has turned into, well, all of us, all of this.  We are very grateful, and in awe that our little political drama has gone global. Thanks so much.  Looking forward to creating slots for us to organize our own selves a bit.  Thanks so much...

Someone asked how to get the icon.  I don't know if he wanted a COOL icon like Snosk's or just how to set one.

Click "profile" on the web page's toolbar, then "Forum Profile Information" on the left column.  This shows you several categories of built-in pictures supplied with the software, or a place to upload your own.  Mine is from "simpsonize.com" that let you build yourself into a Simpson's character as part of the promotion for the movie last year.

My avatar is actually a water feature with LED lights, it is way cool. Smiley I took the pic myself. Check out how to - edit your profile - for info on how to upload your own image. I'm not sure where you could get something like mine but there's a lot of cool images out there on the web. Smiley

I'm most crazy about the moose pic at the top of the screen - Sephyroth is responsible for that, and he also deserves a lot of thanks as he has been my right hand man setting up these forums. Wink
