my name is Carolann (really) and I'm, uh, from Wisconsin, well sorta' by way of marriage (for 43 years).  I love children, grandchildren, other people's children, and all the other kinds of children.  I also love animals (she said sheepishly) and I have three dogs, three cats, three birds, and one fantail goldfish who is named Grace (she just had a birthday where she turned five years old).  I love to read, write, listen to children, dogs, cats, and birds (both outdoor and indoor), and craft.  I love people who are from far away places and people who are kind to animals, children, and each other.  I love the outdoors (from indoors).  I love to camp (in motels) and I love my family (when they're in their own homes and not mine).  Well, gee...I see I love lots of people and things (and I know I sound like a dope, but I don't care).  I have lurked a little here and I see a lot of names I know from other blogs...good people, all...so I am happy to become a mudpuppy (is that what I am officially now?).  O!  I forgot...I HATE Sarah Palin!

Thank you so much...by the way, "Great" has many connotations - one of them being 'large'... Undecided

Hi Carolann and welcome from Nebraska,

settle in and enjoy...this is an awesome place. Hope you have lots of time as this place can become addictive, or sweetly seductive; depending on your view  Wink

CarolAnn  Welcome to the mudflats.

It's really good that you've decided to say 'hi' and I would like to whisper, right back to you, 'hello there'.

I truly cannot remember a more warm welcome from any group.  I feel part of the family already...living & loving & learning.  I think I've finally found my home on the net.  Thank you all so much for the 'loving' reception.   Hug
