Hey everybody--
I've been a regular at Mudflats for quite some time now, and thought I'd check out the forum. Looks interesting, but I'm still reading all the "read me's" and finding my way through. Looks a like a great place.
As for me, I'm a writer, designer and illustrator and sometime political blogger (I'm trying to figure out how to set up a signature that links to my blog, but so far, as I said, it's mostly just reading, reading, reading...)

BodieP--Where in Oregon? PM me if you don't want the world to know; I used to live in OR and still have family down there.

Hi, everyone- This is my first post. I had to post here because I grew up on Main Street in my town.
I have been reading the Mudflats blog since the campaign. The information here is like nowhere else. Isn't it interesting how we are all in this together across the great expanse of the USA and North America. The world wide web is fabulous! The people here are just great. I hope to be able to spend more time here.

lWhere is Oregon? Northeast section--just between the high desert and the Blue Mountains. It's very rural, very smalltown, a little weird.

Ah, my relatives live west of the Cascades, as did I when we lived there. Nice state though!
