I've enjoyed the blog for quite some time now but just decided to sign up for the forums as a way to help show support due to the Doogan reveal. (what an asshat!)
Howdy all!

Welcome funkycamper! I try to avoid funkiness while camping by doing it from a kayak with frequent swims. I do not always succeed.

Gosh, thanks for all the warm welcomes!
Hoquiam is on the Washington state coast, about mid-point, on Grays Harbor.
LOL, I try to avoid the funky when camping, too. It's an ode to our old truck camper, that we had many happy memories from the time our kids were young and we practically lived in it during the summer months. I miss the funky, old thing. Or maybe I just miss the kids being young?
I don't know how often I'll post here but I will continue to read AKM's amazing blog posts and poke around the forums here. And if Doogan gets a worthy, liberal opponent, I will make a contribution to his/her campaign.
