Well, I guess I shouldn't claim that. I am actually in the outskirts of The People's Democratic Republ. of Ester.
Good luck with this whole Doogan mess (the reason for my joining). We are rooting for you!

Welcome, Bearflanks!

Silly me - I'd always assumed it was spelled bareflanks!

Do stick around and join us, yes?

Hi Problem Child...yes it's my zip
Aeroentropy...We are neighbors with Mike and Joan (well...we live down the road)
northofdenali....yes, the people's repub. does rock...where men are men and so are the women.
It's almost that time of year to go bareass on the porch, but I wouldn't do it in South Cushman or North Pole.
(by the way, never look into the 30ft Santa's eyes when you drive by)
It is a pleasure to meet you all albeit virtually.

Northofdenali... I haven't gone to the Howling Dog in over 15 years (where I met my wife) and don't do well in smoky bars anymore.
I frequent LuLus (which so freaking rocks by the way) and also meet up with a friend for "sketch and bitch."
Look us up there sometime!

I only like the "outdoors" part of the 'Dog (except when the Blues Breakers are in town, then I'm found on the dance floor)!  Haven't been to LuLu's - can you give me the location?  I'll be sure to try it out!

And, sadly, it looks like Skinny Dick's is another loss.  Maybe it'll reopen this summer when the tourists can give it a boost!  It's always been a favorite stop when doing a day-trip on the Parks on the bike.

Oooooh.  Skinny Dicks.  Once I had to pee so bad after a long drive and no stops on the freeway through Fairbanks that I actually went in there and used the restroom.  Yikes!

They were friendly, though.

THEY LET YOU USE THE BATHROOM?????????????????

Wow.  Lois has really lowered her standards (whatever THEY are)...............  LOL  I'm sorta serious; they have such a poor, uh, pissoire system that one is usually requested NOT to flush unless necessary, and nonpaying visitors are shown to the somewhat disreputable outhouse in the back!

Crazy, insane bunch there, but always friendly.  Makes you wonder if what they're cooking up behind the bar might be slow-paying tourists!

I'm serious!!!  Welcome Northofdei, Im just a Mudpup in Southern California and I hope to see you post here in the future. Welcome to the Family.  Grin  Wink
