Tired Mom,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

With warmest regards and 3 more hugs from Alaska.  Our thoughts are with you in this deep time of transition.  Yours and Kenny's love and strength reached far.  Take comfort in knowing that he is still with you in spirit and that you have a strong community to support you.

Best of thoughts,

A Tired Mom you must be at this point. Take your time to grieve, and to rest. We're all thinking of you, and wishing you the best for this next part of your journey, without Kenny.

hugs,

My DEAREST Mudpuppy family,

There are not enough words for me to describe this wonderful community of friends here at MudFlats.
OleGeezer and I were constantly amazed at the outpouring of support, kindness and generosity of this most special of communities.

As with most of us here, we found MudFlats because of that wacky gov up there in the great white north, during the election campaign, he and I both sat at our respective laptops following the wonderful blog posts of AKM and all of the puppies. We loved the nice way people were able to discuss politics with passion and humor, but not malice. Two weeks after the election, we were in the hospital. During the long hours of waiting for Kenny to return from testing, and the late nights where I could not sleep, I mentioned our situation on the forum, just kinda venting........then the real Mudpuppy Magic started happening. By the time the holidays rolled around we were receiving cards not just from our swap buddies, but from Mudpuppies worldwide.... packages arrived from opposite ends of the world with treats for us.... and countless PMs and emails came our way as well. As the days and weeks progressed we continued to receive messages of support.

We developed special relationships with many of you that I will always treasure and cherish. Kenny appreciated your support so much, and I know he knew my Mudpals will continue to support me and get me through this.

Thank you all so much for your heartfelt messages of condolence ... it means more to me than I can ever express here .... I wish I could hug every one of you and thank you. For those who are interested, his online obituary will be up tomorrow at www.nelsonfh.com under Kenneth W. Stanley.

Love and peace to you all .....   TiredMom and OleGeezer  (Sabine and Kenny)

Sabine:

You and Kenny fought a valiant battle.  Kenny's body could not beat the beast of cancer, but his spirit lives on in all who know and remember him.

Thank you for sharing your love with all of us and allowing us to be a part of your lives and the chance to offer our help, love and support to both of you.

Please know your mudpuppy family continues to be here for you and the rest of your family.  There is a collective joining of arms, thoughts, candles and prayers for you and the kids and grandkids.  I know that Kenny joined his mom and he continues to watch over you and smile as you all wear your Hawaiian shirts and laugh and smile through tears.....  I know Kenny is resting in peace and he'll be waiting to dance another dance with you someday.

My Dearest MudPals,

Deep Blue in VA  sent me the prettiest roses .... all yellow and orange hued varieties ... She sent them on behalf of of the Mudflats Community and I thank her and all of you.  Our family is so thankful for all of your messages of support and love from afar.

Today will be the hardest day of my life, as I lay my beloved Kenny to rest.  Thank you all so very much for your support and frendship, I will be lurking around here and coming here to "talk" much more in the coming days, and am so thankful for all of you and to AKM for providing this wonderful place.  I will be printing all the messages from here and putting them in Kenny's memory drawer, so he can see all the Mudpuppy love.

Thank you all.... you guys are the best friends we never met!

TiredMom,

I'm so glad you got the roses. I do want you to know that although I made the arrangements for them, they truly were from the Mudflats community, as many members donated to the fund.

You have many friends here and we were all eager to reach out and show you we care!

You are in my thoughts at this time and in the next few days. It will be hard but know that we will always be here for you. Someone will always be a phone call or an email away if you need anything.

Gentle hugs and warm thoughts, spring showers and sunny skies... heading your way to help give you healing thoughts and comforting days and nights.
