Molly and I both thank you for your kind comments.  (I suspected she was cute, but I'm a tiny bit prejudice)

I love to see the pictures of everyone's pets.  They are all so adorable.  Some pics are hilarious (love Marty over the arm), what does Phoenix have in her mouth? and some are just downright
adorable (can any animals sleepy time be cuter than a cats?  they excel at it!)  They are all wonderful and bring a smile to my face.   Cheesy

Molly and Mrs. Pickleface have something in common.  Molly can take off like a firecracker when she sees the camera come out.  (you have to catch her unaware)

Very cute. I had gerbils a long time ago. I'm big on dogs, but we haven't had one for five years. I miss having one.

what does Phoenix have in her mouth?

Phoenix is proudly displaying her candy cane rawhide that my parents gave her for Christmas. She doesn't mind sitting to get her picture taken.  Actually she loves attention, matter of fact if she is trying to get your attention for something and she feels you aren't responding to her quite like she would want, she has been known to come up and sneeze at you hoping you will pay closer attention.   She is quite the character.   I had bought her a few stuffed animal squeaky toys (her favorite) because she loves to walk around with them just squeaking the heck out of them (enough to make you a bit crazy at times),  oddly enough she bites down onto the toy so that she has the squeaker inside between her back teeth so that she just moves her jaw a little bit and all you hear is squeak, squeak squeak squeak (and on and on and on)...wrapped them up and put them under the tree.   Later in the day I had gone out shopping, came home and found one of her presents that I thought I had wrapped sitting up on my bed.  No ripped or torn paper laying around.  I walked out to the tree and didn't see anything amiss.

I stood there scratching my head trying to figure out what was going on.  Figuring I was just losing my mind, and thinking that perhaps I had meant to wrap it but didn't,  I wrapped it along with  a few more gifts and went to place them under the tree when I noticed that there was a package sitting there that didn't look quite right.  Picking it up I found that I had not gone crazy after all.   My sneaky little dog had opened it on one end and left the paper wrapper intact, pulled the toy from the paper and walked off with the toy leaving the paper sitting there still holding it's shape, so when I had looked earlier I hadn't noticed that it was just an empty package.  First and last time she ever did that. She got a stern lecture about "no peeking" after that episode!  LOL

She is a very clever little girl.

I also would like to add that you all have some exceptionally beautiful animals and I appreciate getting to see them all.

Oh my goodness TATFK he sure has grown!   What a gorgeous dog though and I just know that the patients are going to love him!  He now looks like a Sir William, so he has grown into his name.
Keep letting us know how he progresses Smiley

In February of 2002, our beloved dachshund died in a tragic accident.  Lord, how we grieved.  As it is Memorial Day, I've been looking at old family photographs - many of which are stuck in boxes and, generally, mistreated.  I'm ashamed of myself.  I'm more ashamed that I have no decent photos of Stevie.  Folks, take pictures of your pets, or you'll be reduced to things like the following to serve in stead.

Connie

Connie I know exactly what you mean..we lost Magic last year on the 3rd of July and still look for him..but we always take lots of pictures..they are like our kids even be it fur kids..In fact I think I have taken more of the fur kids than I did of my own skin kid..

And Stevie I am sure is still with you just not in your sight..and there is no such thing as a decent picture..any and all of them are precious.

Warm hugs to you, TRConnie Group Hug

I grew up with Gretchen, a standard black-and-tan dachshund- what loyal, patient doggies they are.

When our last dog Tippy (a 94 pound Lab-Shepherd mix, named by youngest daughter- go figure) passed away, I put photos into small books- highlighting her life with us.  The girls got them at Christmas, and there were  lots of tears and laughter.  Best picture? Tippy sitting in the driver's seat in my SUV, after she chewed off the third turn signal knob.
