Well William ..I guess I should say Sir William is in a contest and is looking for votes..

It is easy and doesn't cost you a thing but a few minutes of your time..

So I am shamelessly promoting him to all of you..

And he is in his 5th week of a 12 week contest..

You are only allowed to vote once a day and every week the votes go down to zero again..

My cat Sitka has private (pet) health insurance, but after he watched the President's speech, he's endorsed a strong public option for humans.

Hey while looking back through this thread, I realised that I have met Newton....Memphis' chinchilla. (sp)
One crazy run-around-and -up-the-wall animal. My kids loved him/her.  LOL

Newton is a her but was named prior to finding that out. and the story about how I came to own a chinchilla
My kids have had all sorts of odd pets over the years including stinky smelly ferrets, well when the ferrets, who by the way lived well beyond there expected life expectancy finally passed away, One of the daughter's teacher's thought it would be a good idea to have a class pet.  I volunteered the ferrett cage, cause I wasn't getting anymore animals, well about a year later the teacher got a dog and the dog scared the chinchilla so I got the cage back full. But she is a darling, sweet soft little creature.
