I have been meaning to join mudflats for quite some time. I blog for health care, and that gets pretty intense. Looking forward to just kicking back here and reading the good works of others. My eyeballs are burning from hours of research: medical benefits to payment ratios and percentage of assets.

new at this not good at it...here goes...my mom fell and broke her hip a year ago. I spent some funds for care for her at home. I paid for the care. I kept it under the $12000 gift per annum. I'm so ticked about the mess in Alaska :ofor care contractors. They did a fabulous job. My mom does not have a medicaid waiver. Now, even people who don't qualify for medicaid waivers are apparently under suspicion here in Alaska. I think ALL of this is by repub design. And they have the gall to say Obama's reforms are harmful? Unbelievable. I can har
dly be coherent about this.

so sorry to hear about your mom, but I'm glad you were able to help. I think it is a Republican/health care industry conspiracy: make it almost impossible to get any claims paid, drop the expensive policy holders, and pocket the profits.
