Saturday September 19th is the forums 1st anniversary.

To celebrate this paper anniversary we are doing an anniversary card swap.

This Swap is for sending and receiving anniversary cards to/from secret swap buddies.

We ask only three things -

- That you follow the instructions below regarding how/when to sign up.
- You must send a card to your swap buddy
- You must send it ON TIME.

Some of our mudpuppies signed up for the giftswap, sent out their gifts, and never got anything in return or are still waiting for things to arrive. That is pretty upsetting to them, and to us who arranged the swaps.

In the last two swaps there were several people who missed out because they missed the deadline to sign up.
Don't miss the September 30th deadline.

This is not a take only operation - you have to give to receive in return - that is why they call it a swap.
Do not sign up unless you are happy and able to send your card.

Even if you have participated in other swaps,  we DO NOT have your address, so make sure you follow the instructions and include it in your PM.

How To Sign Up -

You have until September 30th 2009 to sign up, this is a firm deadline.  We will be sending out your swap info by the end of the  week.

You must send a PM to AnnusMirabilis with all of the following information to participate -

(I suggest you copy and paste this section right into your PM so you don't leave any part of it out)

Your Name -
Your Postal Address -
Your Contact Email Address -
If you are in the US and are willing to send internationally (if you are in another country other than the US and you sign up it will be assumed you are willing to send internationally)-

Click Here to send your PM to AnnusMirabilis

DO NOT PM Charcoal, TRConnie, Deep Blue or any of the other Admins. The reason we are asking you to AnnusMirabilis is because they have a sparkling clean and empty PM Box.

There is no need to reply in this thread, doing so will not sign you up for the swap, you must send a pm to AnnusMirabilis to be included.

Sending Your Card -

Please choose a card that isn't racy or inappropriate.

Your card MUST be in the mail by October 15th, 2009.

Our advice is to get organized ahead of time - buy/make your card early.

When you receive your card from your swap buddy come back to the thread and tell us about it.

It certainly seems like it for some things, doesn't it?   Wink

We just had a similar anniversary on the Motley Moose, which turned 1 on September 10th.  The parallels have been interesting, and many Mooses follow what goes on here and with AKM in her world.

Keep the dialog going and growing, folks!

They won't be giving out swap buddies until after Sept 30.
Start watching your PM's after that for your swap info to show up.
Can't wait myself.   Dancin' Chili
