Hi, I'm a huge fan of Mudflats and have passed on the site to everyone I know.  I'm a 40-something working mom, proud Democrat, and a woman of color - how's that for a trifecta?    Like MDF, I'm originally from the East Coast (read: raging liberal) but have lived in Anchorage for 15 years.

I hope this forum will help people in Alaska mobilize against "Palin/McCain" even more than it has already.  We need to derail this train wreck!  Huge Alaska-sized thanks to MDF for your efforts, and I look forward to getting to know everyone here.

Oh, I've been reading Mudflats since May, when I started blogging mys, but now there's SO much more to read!  I logged in to time out in an hour for that very reason...  Thanks for the warm welcome!
