Alaska - Anchorage Mudstock?

There is a long list of Alaskan mudpuppies.
Is it time to organise another Alaskan mudstock?
I have created two threads - this one for Anchorage, and
this one for Juneau
.
Please post your suggestions on dates, times, and locations for a mudstock in this thread.

I'd be interested. Weekends are best for me, as I'd need to drive in from the Valley.

I am interested!
I have just moved to the Valley from the interior and would very much enjoy meeting some mudpuppies!
At this point am fairly open.

There might be some opportunities for carpooling, too - if anyone is interested in doing that (either driving or passengering!) let Jaime know.

Weekend is fine with me, but I am also available weekday evenings.
Just to narrow it down, what about a Saturday at 10 a.m. for brunch
at someone's big house? We could all bring something.
Our place is really small, probably couldn't host us all, or I would!
Restaurant? Jitters' back room in Eagle River?

The last mudstock was in Anchorage. Perhaps, with so many of the early responders being from the Valley, we should have a Valley Mudstock, with Anchorage folks being the ones to take a scenic drive. Grin. I'm fond of Vagabond Blues in Palmer, or the Red Beet in Palmer. Both could accomodate a good sized crowd on a Saturday afternoon.

Do you guys have a general time-frame in mind?
I'm planning a trip up to Anchorage in early November and would love to join you all if it's feasible...
(Although I certainly recognize that no one should plan the event around me...

Ah, Alex, if I were the one planning the Anchorage/Valley Mudstock, I'd be more than glad to plan around you!

I am so lost over here at the forums; anyway I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I'm excited about a Mudflats gathering here in Anchorage, or Palmer or Eagle River soon. I'm pretty flexible with my time right now, so most anytime would likely work, except Nov. 14th when I have a women's brunch already planned. I have no idea how many proplr might attend, so we need to come up with a head count before firming up the meeting place. I guess that dates need to be worked out first. How about if we shoot for well before Thanksgiving, because the holiday season gets really hectic by then.

Alex, does your visit happen on a weekend? that could help us to narrow down a date.
Before TG sounds like a good plan to me......
Here is a wild thought: maybe we can do Saturday afternoon at Vagabond, and then the conference room at Glacier Brewhouse or Beartooth on Sunday, or somewhere else.......opt to go to one or both......

hummmm.... Snos - look what you started with your suggestion, we are picking venues and close to having a date. I think you must come from Australia to be with us! You can wear a trench coat and sit in the corner if you wish to remain anonymous.

Palmer on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon sounds good. It would be great if we could do it when Alex is here. I don't mind driving to Palmer!
And Snos - we really do need to get you up here.

I'd love to do the mudstock when Alex is here. Does Saturday November 7 work for you Alex?

This sounds great. Any time is good for us except Wednesday afternoons and the weekend of 10/22 through 10/26 when we will be in San Francisco.

Been hoping that the Valley would be an option for a Mudstock. Palmer sounds good to me.....any time before Nov 8.

Dog Salmon!! I wanna go!!! But there is no way for me to attend anything until after this babe is born! I leave to go wait one week from today. And then can't travel with such a lil one :-(
Maybe we can plan a second mudstock in late Feb or early March?
