There is a long list of Alaskan mudpuppies.
Is it time to organise another Alaskan mudstock?
I have created two threads - this one for Juneau, and
this one over here for Anchorage
.
Please post your suggestions on dates, times, and locations for a mudstock in this thread.

Not that I can
really
plan that far in advance, but I think I should be around that weekend. We haven't seen each other in a while here (at least not as a group), so it would be fun.

Im down. I just moved to Juneau from Anchorage to go to the University, and my Mum was a hardcore Mudflatter. I totally want to hit up the Juneau Mudflats scene. I need to meet some people down here anyway haha.

We're glad to have you join us in the mud. Maybe you would like to introduce yourself, but glad to have you here either way!

Ah ha! You've finally surfaced here!! We'd love to finally meet you in person, since we heard so much about you at the last Juneau Mudstock when your mom was here but you skipped out! Besides, I think we're all supposed to be being your "aunties" as it were!

I don't see any reason why we couldn't do two or three or one a month or whatever... (cause I've actually been wanting to see some of you...!)

I'm all for meeting during the Central Committee meeting but would be happy to meet sooner. The place we met the last time would be good, but I often work until 7 p.m., so arrived last time after some folks had left. I will be out of town the last week of October.
Kept a Mudflats yellow boot sticker on the visor of my taxi this summer, but only one Mudpuppy noticed it!

Count me in! Love getting in the mud and having fun with fellow mudpups and tour guides! I will be out Nov. 4-14, but otherwise have no plans.
Uksorcha, glad you are joining!
By the way, please remember that if you need anything or some "auntie" company, all you have to do is shout out and we'll be there!

Hey gang
So you guys all probably know my mum. I'm Claire, I would totally welcome a couple more "aunts" so I can expand my circle as Mum puts it. I LOVE the university, I play soccer every Friday at the Rec Center. It's been great so far. And I am completely down to meeting up with more people if they want, whenever they want. Just message me and we can exchange numbers and set up a time. I think a meeting before January would be good for getting everyone together, there's lots to discuss.

I was going to suggest that you come to the Evening at Egan on Fridays to meet me, but if you're playing soccer on Fridays, you prob. can't make it (just in case, it's 7 pm on Fridays through 20 Nov., either in the Library or the Lecture Hall at the other end of the Egan Building). My husband runs camera for it, and I always tag along (except we won't be there on 6 Nov.). Yea for soccer! I'll PM you with my number; we'd love to see you and be an auntie and uncle!

So, Juneau-ites, why don't we plan two mudstocks - one for the dates to coincide with the Central Committee meeting in January- 29, 30, 31...
And one sooner - a weekend in November, perhaps?
I will put up a poll with some November dates.

I will be in Anchorage Nov 19-22. Otherwise, mostly good. Nov 7 is a full day for me but not impossible. Weekend of Nov 14-15 is good.

While I could make any of the dates work in reality a Saturday would probably be a bit easier for me. I haven't been on the forums much due to work but will start checking more often for updates. I look forward to seeing everyone.
