There is a long list of Californian mudpuppies. Smiley

Is it time to organise another California mudstock?

Please post your suggestions on dates, times, and locations for a mudstock in this thread.

I'm in San Diego from time to time.  Maybe the dates will work out and I can be an honorary Californian.  Wink

I just suggested that we have a SoCal mudstock in San Diego on March 13, 2010.  This is the end of the Air America cruise.  It's a Saturday and the ship docks at 7 am.  Perhaps some lucky mudpuppies who get to cruise could fill us in on all the happenings if we meet up that day.

In any case I'm half way between LA and the Bay Area so I can go either North or South for other dates.  Then again we could all meet in the middle on the Central Coast for a mudweekend of fun?  We've got some great wineries, good food and lots of "nature" activities. LOL

We had a mini-mudstock this summer in San Diego.  I still haven't uploaded the photos.  Bad Seagull.  I also had the joy of meeting 2 pups in Juneau 2 weeks ago during my cruise.  Haven't uploaded those photos yet either.  Bad bad.

BUT I'm in for any new Mudstock in So. Cal., just have someone else in charge of the photos!!

There must be some mudpuppies in the Bay Area.  Anyone interested in a Mud Union up here?

The San Diego idea sounds great, ditto another party at Fawnskin's.  She is, without a doubt, the "Hostess with the Mostest"!   Wink

My daughter is in school in SF, so would love to have a couple of reasons to visit if dates work. I'll be the Alaska contingent.

I'm in Fresno. I wasn't a mudpuppy last year. I'm not actually sure where I'll be next spring - I've been unemployed since last September (2008) but either here or back in Wash state. I'd love to meet some other actual progressives!

I'd love to be part of a Bay Area gathering! There's lots of great places we can meet up, either in Berkeley or SF, or Oakland.  Or, closer East, if that is where folks are!!! :P

I'm up for a NorCal Mudstock, but I doubt we want to hold it in Groveland.

Although Yosemite in the winter is pretty nifty.....

I'm on the Central Coast so either north or south is OK by me.  It's sounds like maybe we need 2, one in the south and one in the north?  We've got a lot of pups to get together.

I'm right here in Sacramento just like GinaM.
Something in the Bay Area might work as well for me.I have only been here since '95 ' and have been to the Bay Area twice.

I mentioned in chat one night in talking with strangelet that I had been to Groveland once.
It is very pretty up there.... but that is one long ride up the hill  Wink

I'd be up for another Mudstock. Fawnskin is an EXCELLENT party planner, I might add! Thanks for such a wonderful time at your home. I also lived in the Bay Area (4 years) and in Sacto (for 6 months and loved the people I met there) and have done some consulting in San Diego, so I'm up for a little trip. Not far from Central Cal Coast, either. In other words, I'm game!
