We have mudpuppies in Kentucky. Smiley

Would someone like to organise the Kentucky mudstock?

Please post your suggestions on dates, times, and locations for the mudstock in this thread.

some of us discussed this in chat a couple of weeks ago and tentatively came up with Berea in the Spring.
Berea is on I-75 and has a wealth of wonderful places to visit. It is also nicely situated for Tennessee mudpuppies to attend.

I live in Berea.  Spring is a great time, usually.  Still haven't figured out all the chat stuff.

I am in E. TN, so I might be able to attend as well.  I have never been to Berea, but have heard it is beautiful.

I would be glad to help out with Berea arrangements. For your information. Berea is "dry" meaning no adult beverages available in restaurants. Feels kind of backwards. Anyway will be gone for 3 weeks to New Mexico.

I'm from the Cincinnati area and would be interested if there wasn't something a little closer to home :)

armonde, I'm in the backwoods of northeastern Kentucky and I'm willing to bet that you having a straight shot down I-75 will be able to get to Berea before I can!

ETA: I say that with a huge smile!

I should have mentioned that the very FIRST of the middle of the night chat included Tina from eastern Tennessee (Tina currently in an undislcosed location in the Deep South).

A Kentucky Mudstock in Berea should be within just a couple or three-four hours for anyone in Kentucky, eastern Tennessee (especially close for Knoxville) and Greater Cincinnati.

As weaver noted, Berea is a dry county, but that's not unusual for Kentucky, which is weird because Kentucky is the home of the real and only official Bourbon...however, nothing to stop us at the designated hotel!
