I have to say they are certainly written in Sarah speak..
Hey Look, It’s A Picture Of A Page From ‘Going Rogue’
More Dirty Photos From ‘Going Rogue’
If these are pages from the book, it is certainly comedy gold.

Replete with avidly trotting if not full-throttle run on sentences it would seem.

AHhh well then..like sun..focused through a magnifying glass..the sunshine-sarah blitzkrieg-bus..willmove through the hours..and we..who are watching in some detachement..will see the huge expansion..of what is..a miniscule 'thing'. The rays hit..the subject..the media ..flares it outward..and then..the heat of the moment..subsides..leaving crumbled words..stirring in drifts..behind the bus..quiet returns..once more. I have but to hike, to read..and to think..for purification.

Seems like we're having a Scarahpalozza for the next week. Last night, since there are no reruns of KO and Rachel on Friday's anymore, saw the CNN panel trash the book. Even Ben Stein didn't have anything nice to say.
The Wonketter stuff is really funny.

I'm glad that does it for you juneaudream. Myself, I sometimes have to add a hot bath and a loud scream in an out-of-the-way place. (That refers to the scream. I tend to have the bath in the house.

From what I have seen and read so far, it appears ole Limpbells is counting on his audience not reading the book (or not reading at all) when he said it was the best policy book he ever read, unless it is the only book he ever read. Maybe he just looked at the pictures. We lived through the first three chapters so we know there is no policy there, and from what I have heard the last chapter is just God and Reagan every three words.

There isn't enough hot water in the world to make me feel clean after this. Eeeeeeew.

Bubbles of Earth!" "

The review in the NY Times
tells us:
Quote
...the first paragraph of the book contains the phrase “I breathed in an autumn bouquet that combined everything small-town America with rugged splashes of the Last Frontier”
[...]
Elsewhere in this volume, she talks about creationism, saying she “didn’t believe in the theory that human beings — thinking, loving beings — originated from fish that sprouted legs and crawled out of the sea” or from “monkeys who eventually swung down from the trees.”

at the phrase - it's really, really purple.
Reference her creationist belief, were dinosaurs mentioned to have been happily coexisting with the 'thinking, loving beings' ?

Celtic Diva also has a few pages. I haven't read them all yet, but in one of them, she refers to Andree McLeod as the "falafel lady."

I think just those few excerpts were enough to say what a truly awful read this "book" is going to be. I've always had the habit of before I buy a book to read the first page first to get a feel for the author's style and writing. Suffice to say, this one would stay on the shelf. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much more.

In anticipation of a growing discussion about the book, we have a new thread here:

I've lived in small town America. That "autumn bouquet" was probably cow cr*p. Not sure what the "rugged splashes" were, but something similar I've no doubt.
