It's funny, but when I read the subject line of 'Please welcome our new moderators', my mind substituted 'alien overlords' for 'moderators'. That had me flashing on Kang and Kodos, the aliens from the Simpsons who seem to make an appearance in every 'Tree House of Horror' episode.

So now forever after, I will subconsciously be thinking 'tentacled ones' whenever I'm thinking of moderators.
sigh... the burdens of being brainwashed by pop culture... even if it is the good parts...
