I'm just one more from Wichita to add to the list and waving hello to my fellow Kansans and everyone else. Two Thumbs Up!

Hiya from NE Kansas (that teenytiny dot of blue just west of KCK!)

Saw a bumper here yesterday:

"Barack Chalk Jayhawk Obama 08!"

Leave it to those pesky Campus Dems to come up with a take on the Rock Chalk Jayhawk chant!

Hello Fellow Kansan and hopefuly Jayhawk fan.
I hear that Brownback is going to run for governor once Sebelius' term is up and people in the know say that he will be almost impossible to defeat and there wouldn't be any good candidate to even take him on. Sorry to ruin your night if you haven't heard this bad news.

My son and I recently left the husband/dad in Kansas and made the trek to northern Minnesota.  Definitely a difference in politics, especially in this very blue area of a blue state. (Versus red area of a red state)

So far, I have walked outside in my socks, mistakenly believing it was Kansas, was confused by the word, "dressing" for the bread stuffing that goes in the turkey, and believed that "pop" was a noise, not a refreshing beverage.  LOL

And why does everyone sound like Sarah Palin up here?

Just an aside, we moved from Kansas City (Johnson CO) KS to the Iron Range (Arrowhead) of MN.  So my son went from over 400 in his class to...8 in his class.  He LOVES it!
