Moose Nuggets: The Life Of Brian, Valentines Day, Love is in the Air

Our Brian is becoming a widely traveled, "hooves on the ground" kind of guy, so we thought he merited his very own thread. Stay tuned, as Brian shares his adventures. Film at 11(a.m.)
Valentines Day is coming up and rumor has it that Brian has big plans. What are they? Inquiring minds want to know. If you happen to see him celebrating take a picture and post it here. Again we'll be putting some of these photos onto the I Heart Mudflats Blog, just as we did with the New Years Eve photos.
So get the cameras ready peeps and find out with this lovestruck moose is up to!
People have been asking about how to post pictures. Just follow this link and have fun.

Buffalo Brian the Elder has a bottle of Asti all to himself. ( waaay too sweet for me ! ) Lord only knows where the night will end up if he starts so early. I see prank tweets to $P somewhere in the near future though.
We are also home to Buffalo Brian the Younger. His photo is still in my son's camera tho.
Thanks Sucha for help with the photo upload!!

Brian 'helped' me shovel this morning's snowfall. During a break, he went exploring. He called me over and tried to convince me that he made me an ice sculpture:
(I pretended to believe him.)
He was happy to 'supervise' (what with him bein' an expert on snow an' all) until I pointed out that those were squirrel tracks he was looking at. Suddenly, he was hungry for lunch.
We went to visit his new buddy, 'Furrnurr', just back this morning from the vet after surgery for abscessed wounds he'd received some time before he arrived to live with us last week. (I'd almost named him 'Fec', for 'foreign-exchange cat', but only fans of 'That 70's Show' would get the pop-culture reference. Plus Irish would NOT approve, I'm sure! Instead, he's been dubbed 'Furrnurr' because he's a Dirty White Boy.)
Brian approves of the patient's appetite
Boys being boys, Brian HAD to see the injury.....
Furrnurr is a very stoic kitteh.
For some reason, Brian felt a need for a little air all of a sudden, so I took him out on the deck:
After the greenish tinge faded from his antlers, we went inside to relax for a bit. We found we shared a mutual guilty-pleasure: a love for Jackie Chan films, so I made us some hot cocoa and we settled in for the final night of 2009.
Happy New Year, Mudpups!!

Brian's cousin Bogart, after drinking a gallon of eggnog and eating part of my rosemary bush, helped undecorate the house today.

After numerous attempts with the non-stuffed cat, I opted for Felix who is far more amenable to having his photo taken. Here he is with Brian (thank you Wasilly!) with a few drinks they plan on having to see the New Year in safely.
Here's Brian on our Christmas Tree and for the sharp-eyed amongst you - yes, that is a piggie on top of the tree (the angel is holding him in her wings)!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As noted, Brian accompanied me to NYC this summer... here's the link to his adventures! Who knows!? He might be there, in Times Square, again tonight!

Appalachia Brian is entertaining various and sundry relatives as they check out the party hors d'oervres:
then Brian's little friend Gargle the computer gargoyle came around and the two of them pondered the meaning of fruitcake:
