Hi, all. I'm from a suburb of Cleveland and have been reading Mudflats since Sarah Palin was announced. I was a social worker first, then a lawyer, now am retired. I LOVE The Mudflats!! Cheesy

Nice to meet you, too...I'm from your rust-belt neighbor, Pittsburgh. In spite of various sports rivalries, our cities have a lot in common, and we both have a lot in common with our smaller sister city, Youngstown. It wasn't bad enough we have had to live out the collapse of industries like steel and rubber. Now here we go again. I surely hope Ohio can get past whatever is keeping that state from voting for Obama. That would probably clinch the election for Dems right there.

LJP - Good to meet you! (But, just because I feel compelled.....Go Browns!). I worry all the time about this election and the role PA, OH & MI will play in it. Will be working voter protection on Election Day, so we'll see.....
