I'm Colin, a ten year survivor of stage 4, squamous cell carcinoma.   When I originally sought out the companionship of others in this predicament, I wanted to share a source of what I believe has kept me alive.   Unfortunately the rules preclude me from naming this product.   So my situation is that because of radiatiion my gums are destroyed so can't masticate food.   My saliva production is severally compromised and taste buds AFU.   I realize that these conditions are shared, in whole or part by all of us.   My questions are what have you done to mitigate your situation and what do you you credit with your survival.
To those beginning the proccess of dealing with oral cancer, lean on me.   I will be happy to share my successes and failures with you.
A positive mental attitude is more important than all of the medical assistance you will recieve.

Thank you.   I had hoped to have more time to devote to this endeavor but as usual, life happens while we are making other plans.

Welcome When you have the time, mightyquinn (I, too, remember the song fondly), read "The pH Miracle" by Dr. Robert O. Young and learn about making your system alkaline. The basics are: 80% (by eye) of the food on your plate should be vegetables; at least half of them raw. The other 20% should be unprocessed or minimally processed food. Make sure you're drinking alkaline water. Health and peace.
