What’s the Forum?

The Forum is a place where mudflatters far and wide come to discuss politics, plan events, introduce themselves, start new threads of discussion, and get to know each other.

Start by introducing yourself, if you choose, or jump right in and join in on the Mudflats Book Club, the Movie Club, post photographs, or do what Mudflatter’s do best; discuss the issues of the day ranging from local Alaskan politics, to the national economy, and check the Action Alerts forum to find out what you can do to make a difference or meet up with Mudflatters in your area.

There is also a Live Chat feature in the upper right corner, and chats are scheduled periodically. Or just click and see who’s there.

The Night Kitchen Open Thread is a spot to get your feet wet, and engage in non-directed free flowing conversation about this and that.

Best of all, if you are new to the forums and have never participated in something like it before, there are oodles of knowledgeable people on the other side, willing to guide you through to help you learn how to make the most of the forums, and participate in this vibrant annex of the Mudflats.
