The Least of Sarah Palin’s Problems

By Ken Morris
(Co-author with Frank Bailey and Jeanne Devon of Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin

“My problem is I do have the fire in my belly…”
~Sarah Palin discussing a run for U.S. President with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, May 19, 2011

Where to begin? After about 18 months of living in the rabbit hole of Sarah Palin’s head while co-authoring Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin—insider Frank Bailey’s factual account of being side-by-side with the candidate, then half-term governor and failed vice presidential candidate—I listened to the above quoted interview in dismay. It wasn’t because of the words themselves; I’ve read and listened to hundreds of thousands of Sarah’s words (and Todd’s for that matter) these many months, poring over previously unseen documents that form the basis of our book . Rather, I continue to listen to statements that demonstrate that despite untold riches, up and down celebrity, and diminishing credibility, Sarah Louise Palin remains as incapable of introspection as ever. No lessons learned.

There is no greater testimony to the truthfulness of what is in our book than Sarah’s cavalier and typically misleading dismissal of the contents, without a single specific example. She said that Blind Allegiance (without naming the book, naturally) contains, “…hoarded emails from a disloyal former staff member…compiled by a hateful blogger and those are going to be released…taken out of context.” Sarah and her people, by the way, saw an earlier unethically released version of the manuscript, initially leaked by rival author Joe McGinniss, who disgustingly described co-author Devon as “whoring” herself by working with Bailey. They know what’s in Blind Allegiance and they know it is dynamite. They also are aware that nothing was taken out of context, and that the extensive use of Sarah’s own words, verbatim, assure the reader of that fact. By mid-week next week, after the book release, anyone reading the text with even a grain of objectivity will understand who speaks the truth.

Sarah also suggested in her Van Susteren interview that everyone should just focus on what she’s said and done “recently.” The not too subtle message she wanted to impart was, “ignore the emotional and intellectual instability coursing through 400 pages of Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin. Irrational rants and rages from governors, un-vetted vice presidential running mates, and presidential candidates aren’t an issue.” Naturally, Sarah Palin could not be more wrong. The emotional makeup of any person running for high office—especially one seeking the most powerful position in the world—is vitally important. Do we want Sarah Palin anywhere near the proverbial red button at 3:00 a.m.—especially after being angered by some recent slight like being denied a speaker’s role at the Wasilla High School graduation? (Read Blind Allegiance and you’ll understand the tease).

Continuing her Q and A with VanSusteren, Sarah suggested that she will not respond to “…little petty stupid things” that are a “waste of time” which, she noted, is our most precious commodity. Without spoiling for readers the suspense of Frank Bailey’s amazing journey from Palinbot to eyes-wide-open critic, let me just suggest that as a wasting-time-on-petty-things-person, Sarah Palin is exhibit one, two, and three.

She won’t, she said, “take the bait” by dignifying the book with a response and suggested, as if she were the only adult in the political/media room, that Greta and her colleagues do the same. In other words, since there is no rebuttal to documented truth, the way to discredit is to simply ignore.

In a fit of honesty that is ironic for its lack of self-awareness, Sarah claimed she wanted “voters…to do their own homework.” She, personally, also wanted to “make sacrifices in order to help mankind…” If, as she suggested, voters do their homework, and realize as we did what sacrifices Sarah made as a quitting-half-term-governor and mega-millionaire, she won’t have a political leg to stand on. In other words, she really doesn’t mean what she says.

By proclaiming, “My problem is I do have the fire in my belly,” she once again demonstrates a monumental tin-ear. Truly, stomach-flames are the least of her “problems.”

    Sarah has fire in the belly that creates the steam making her hiss like a radiator.

  2. laingirl says:

    I expect to receive Dunn’s book today and Bailey’s in a day or two. I will not buy McGinniss’ book unless I see it on sale at a charity thrift store for 50 cents. It’s hard for me to imagine anyone saying what McGinniss did and Jeanne.

  3. mattie says:

    To me, the ethical thing for Joe Mcginniss to have done was call one of you guys and say he just got a copy of your book, not forward it all over the place. I am not going to buy his book.

  4. mattie says:

    After reading that Joe McGinniss is good friends with Roger Ailes, I have to wonder.

  5. mattie says:

    I want someone to as Frank Bailey if he did ask Rebecca Mansour to write a positive book about palin. Funny thing is the “positive book about Palin” was added to the Politico story, and politico did not mention that the story had been updated, but it clearly says so on c4peepee. I know it didn’t say it the first time I read the article.

  6. uhm….Joe McGinnis….sorry, but the Obama’s were in Ireland. 🙂

  7. Congrats to all three of you – I am just catching up on my Mudflats reading tonight so am a bit behind the parade. And thank you to Ken for giving us more information on Joe McGuinness. I have not felt the need to get involved in either side of that discussion to any great extent, but I think having the chance to consider his actions in the context of other behaviors is helpful. Thanks.

  8. JUST A THOUGHT says:

    SP WILL CONTINUE TO BE “FRONT AND CENTER” AS LONG AS THE NEWS

    MEDIA CONTINUES TO USE HER FOR RATINGS. SP IS A POLITICAL WHORE!

    SHE IS LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!!

  9. ks sunflower says:

    OT – but here in the KC area, they are now announcing that the Joplin tornado is tied (and may exceed) the single most destructive tornado in American history — the other one having occurred in the 1950’s.

    I didn’t hear the updated death total, but they’ve found more bodies, so now we know it exceeds 89. Poor Joplin.

    More storms hit that area today. More expected tomorrow – some of which may make to my area. Spring has definitely sprung with a vengeance around here. Cooler weather this week may settle down this storm pattern for a while.

    • jimzmum says:

      I believe the confirmed dead number is 118 as of a bit ago. There is a Facebook page set up with good info. I can’t link to the address because I am sitting outside watching the evening hawk ballet and typing on my phone during the intervals.

      • bubbles says:

        i am terribly upset and worried about the people who have endured these horrendous tornados.
        if there are any Mudflatters there please let us know how you are getting on.

  10. PennyArcade says:

    I wish everyone would quit hitting on Joe McGinness, or any other of the authors. Please remember who the culprit is here and thank ALL the authors for striking out at the monster in Wasilla. I loved Greg’s book, The Lies of Sarah Palin and I’m sure I will be delighted with Blind Allegiance, plus the McGinness book. Contrary to some of the smarny remarks here. Joe is a fabulous author. Havent you read “Fatal Vision.” If not, you should. His talent speaks for itself. Now all of us Mudflatters know that Jeanne Devon is a faburlous writer. We visit and read her wise words every day, but I wish all the authors the absolute vvery most success ever!!!.

    • ks sunflower says:

      I agree we need to hold our fire on McGinnis. Divide and conquer, spread division amongst your foes is a typical GOP technique. Not to say that Democrats don’t do it upon occasion, but by and large recent history points to dirty tricks being the GOP way. It certainly is the Palin way.

      So, although my antenna have been raised thanks to the info bubbles shared about Ailes and McGinnis, I am going to bide my time and see how this settles out. If time brings forth enough evidence to discredit McGinnis, then I hope his book is a big flop —- but unless and until then, I will simply be content to hold my judgments and try to stay open-minded. There could be a movement to discredit him to Palin’s benefit. There will be plenty of opportunity to decide how independent his evaluation and presentation is, and if he is not what we all thought he was, his reputation will be well and truly ruined – but that’s a big IF at this point.

      Who’s to say that his friendship with Ailes isn’t connected to his writing or his motives on selecting topics. It could be that they are merely acquainted or run in similar circles at times. We’ve all probably been friendly with people we deem less than desirable. It’s called being civilized – but that said, I am not going to jump either way other to say what I said before “it could explain a lot as regards the leak — could be the operative word.” I’d like more evidence.

    • Thomas says:

      Sorry, these are 2 separate issues and – whether or not he’s critical of Palin – I refuse to respect or financially support a guy who called Jeanne Devon a “whore” and was complicit in the theft of her and her coauthors’ intellectual property. Yes, Joe’s a talented writer, but he needs to get over himself instead of pretending actual Alaskans don’t get to write about their own former governor, and that this should somehow be the exclusive purview of a dude like himself from Massachusetts (lest Jeanne & Co. cut into his book sales). Given what he’s said to and about Jeanne, supporting McGinness is nothing less than a slap to her face.

      • Alaska Pi says:

        amen

      • Ken Morris says:

        Thomas, et. al.

        By now, you all know me. I am Ken Morris. Jeanne and Frank Bailey have become my best friends in the world. And surprise, after nearly two years of working together–weeping over Frank and Jeanne losing their mothers and being sabotaged by Joe McGinniss (Joe, if I lie, please, please, please, sue me),–I have yet to meet my two best friends. I’m in California they are in Alaska, and we spent as many as 70 hours a week for two years, a grind that made physical face-to-face impossible. Yet that made no difference. I love Jeanne, Frank, and their families. We all joked that we’d meet in a weepy union on Oprah, but she planned poorly and went off the air a couple weeks too early. We will save our tears for another day, I hope soon, and you Mudflatters are, if it’s in your neighborhood, invited.

        That out of the way, let me say something about those of you who cling to the McGinniss isn’t to blame for almost ruining our book bandwagon. Please read Janet Malcolm’s book, “The Journalist and the Murderer” (but only after your read Blind Allegiance). As that book details, Say-it-ain’t-so-Joe did the same unethical thing to other authors who were planning to write a book that competed with his. Not only that, he misled a convicted murderer enough that a jury of his peers awarded the convicted murderer $300,000. If there were a literary Guinness Book of World Records for unethical behavior, Joe would’ve held that record for many years, only to lose his own record to himself when he tried to destroy our book. Most disturbingly, Joe McGinniss, more than anyone I know in this world, reminds me of Sarah Palin, with false justifications and nasty, vindictive motives. Unlike Jeanne, I never counted him a friend, so my pain isn’t as personal as hers. I will tell you all, however, that Jeanne Devon is one of the most special people I know in this world, and she did not deserve being stabbed in the back.

        So, progressive or conservative, all of us tend to, inappropriately from time to time, assign blind allegiance. Jeanne will be the first to admit that she believed in McGinniss until he sought to abort our literary child. My advice? Do your homework on this, as you should do your homework on political candidates on the right and left. Read our book first, Janet Malcolm’s second.

        Finally, if I were a source in Joe McGinniss’s upcoming book, after reading The Journalist and the Murderer, I’d be afraid, very afraid, of having trusted him. He has a history of saying one thing and doing another.

        Much more later on this, so stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy our book. All of us, Jeanne, Frank, and I, cannot wait to read your feedback. I look forward to visiting your hometown soon and meeting every one of you. And my best friends, Jeanne Devon, Frank Bailey, and their families. Who needs Opah? We can shed tears of joy without cameras. No?

        Peace,
        Ken Morris

        • Snoskred says:

          Thank you Ken for posting this. I know mudpups have been confused about this and there are legal issues surrounding the leaking of the book which make it difficult for all of you to discuss it.

          Jeanne is like family to me too, having been involved with her and the blog and the forum since September 2008. So I guess that makes us extended family also too! 😉

          Cheers,
          Snoskred

        • Alaska Pi says:

          Thank you Mr Morris.
          I’m not anywhere near as warm and wonderful as our dear bubbles . Actually I’m kinda crusty and cranky and try hard to moderate that when visiting here at the ‘flats but I do so appreciate you speaking up some on this.
          I am already familiar with The Journalist and The Murderer and whatever can be said said in the positive about Mr McGinniss’ writing skills has long been offset, in my mind, by a deep wariness as to what and why he casts what and who as he does.
          I have a deep respect for AKM’s fundamental integrity and rich humanity . There are times I disagree with her take on an issue but that does not diminish my respect, it forces me to be more clear about why and where I diverge.
          Mr McGinnis has not earned that respect in me . I am very careful when I do find myself agreeing with him on something.
          Best wishes to you all
          Maybe you all could do a victory lap, eh? And touch down in Southeast somewhere along the way?

    First time poster, long time lurker. My question is that I have seen this same poster everywhere with different names. The calls itself Stoney Jack in this one. Im sure I’ve seen the name before but I KNOW it was on a different blog. here is the post
    “Fat Frank Bailey trotted & drooled after Sarah Palin like an over-fed basset hound until she showed him the doggy-door. Did he man up & move on? No, he teamed up with howling harridan Mean Jean Devon to caterwaul, croak and cavil from the canyons of Alaska. Pitiful pair.”

    Im wondering if anyone has a compiled list of screen names from this person?

    • gran567 says:

      Chuck – check the ADN whenever there is any article with the name “palin” in it. He posts the same drivel there and uses a number of different names.

    It is going to be a great summer.
    Hopefully Sowah’s inept ability to govern our great state won’t piss me off too much.

    Eve since news of this book, I’ve been feeling pissed at Frank. I live in rural Alaska. Most of my family members still live in rural Alaska. Back in the winter of 08-09 my family took in several younger families from my home village. There just wasn’t enough heating fuel or gasoline for everybody.

    What helped my hubby and I thru our little beginings as a family, was having elder families around. We had two young families move onto our property that horrible winter Sowah was Gov.They lived in camper trailers on the back 10 acres.I know it was hard. I just know it. But there was not enough fuel back in thier home village.

    I don’t want to be mad at anyone, so I’m kinda letting up on my anger towards Frank. Sorta.
    People died that winter. It was just too hard. Was it the shortage of fuel? I don’t know. I try and damper my anger by thinking some folks, that passed on, would of even if there was enough fuel.
    Maybe I’m still grieving and my anger at Frank is a stage of grief. I don’t know.

    On the flip side, my disrespect towards Toad and Sowah has been around since before they were married.

    • bubbles says:

      trust your instincts Tallimat. like you i don’t want to be angry but i am. and as more information comes out about Joe Mcginnis and his ties to Roger Ailes of Fox news the angrier i get.
      i guarantee he didn’t mention that little fact to the progressive Alaskan bloggers when he went up there to research his book. when he faked friendship to get what he wanted.

    I plan on buying this book locally tomorrow. I had planned on buying it on Amazon, but decided it was important to show there are progressives in my city who are interested in buying this type of book. Kudos to all 3 authors!

    I don’t know if it makes a difference…a few pennies, maybe…but I cancelled my order on Amazon and re-ordered through the Associates Store. I’m looking forward to a great read! This may be the only Palin expose that can be effectively passed on to Evangelicals who’ve been told Palin is ‘righteous’! Congratulations on your soon-to-be best seller!

  16. hockeynana says:

    I don’t think it helps anything to be derogatory toward Joe McGinniss. I have been a huge fan of his for years…I totally disagree with the former poster who said his books are boring. I hope he is as thorough in his pursuit of the truths regarding Mrs. Todd Palin as he was with former topics. I have wondered, too, why and if he really was the one who released that copy of your book. Just didn’t seem like the way he operates. If he did, I think he must have had a motive.

    I think all three books together are going to be important. They can each supply information that helps show what a fake and downright idiot (to quote my hero Keith O) and mentally disturbed individual the quitter queen is.

    Frankly, I find Frank Bailey a repugnant individual. He said and did many things that make him less than respectable to me. I am glad he released this book, but don’t think I will ever find anything about him to admire. I hope that Jeanne was able to give us some truthful insights despite his basic personality. I think it was a case of “birds of a feather”.

    I preordered all three books months ago and look forward to reading each one for the knowledge they will impart. Each man looks at the subject different, so that together they will hopefully be able to rid us all of her forever.

  20. Ratfish says:

    http://politicalwire.com/archives/2011/05/23/former_palin_aide_releases_scathing_book.html

    Former Palin Aide Releases Scathing Book

    “A former member of Sarah Palin’s inner circle has written a scathing tell-all, saying Palin was ready to quit as governor months before she actually resigned and was eager to leave office when more lucrative opportunities came around,” the AP reports.

    Said Frank Bailey: “In 2009 I had the sense if she made it to the White House and I had stayed silent, I could never forgive myself.”

    Blind Allegiance to Sarah Palin: A Memoir of Our Tumultuous Years “is due out Tuesday and based on tens of thousands of emails that Bailey said he kept during his time with Palin. It began with working on her 2006 gubernatorial campaign and continued through her failed run for vice president in 2008 and her brief stint as governor.”

  21. Ratfish says:

    The fact that the TWITTER QUITTER FROM WASILLA even referenced the book during an “interview” on national TV shows both how bothered she is by what it says and how mean and- when she calls Bailey “disloyal-” how vindictive she is.

    Is she claiming Bailey disloyal to the state of Alaska- to whom she took an oath to serve- or to her personally?

    And since she, Stapleton, Leighow et al claim Palin is the great reformer of Alaska politics who believed in “open and transparent” government, why isn’t she championing the release of emails that are public documents, whether they were “hoarded” or not?

    Sick and pathetic.

    • frsbdg says:

      Let’s examine the use of the word “disloyal,” shall we? In the Fox News pantheon of flaming a-holes, there is one short, pudgy little toe-sucker – the aptly named Dick Morris. Dick is regularly listed as “former Clinton staffer” when he’s side-by-side with resident cement-head Sean Hannity. Funny how they never seem to have enough room to include the word “disloyal” in there.

      It is impossible to be a conservative without being a total hypocrite.

  22. tigerwine says:

    I envy those of you who ordered the Kindle edition. Since I wanted to spread this around to all my friends, I got the paper copy, and now I’ll have to wait!

    By the way, I’ve been keeping my eye out on two books that came out about the same time, and can’t believe what I’m seeing. Comparing Jerome Corsi’s “Where’s the Birth Certificate” and Dunn’s “The Lies of Sarah Palin” smacks of conservatives buying up books in lots, like they did with SP’s first book. This amazes me, since the Corsi book didn’t come out until 2 days after Obama’s revealing of his BC. (I thought that was great timing, by the way!)

    Corsi’s book is #29 on Amazon’s best seller list, compared to Dunn’s at #6007.
    His book has 104 reviews vs. Dunn’s 21.
    The good news is that “The Lies of SP” rated a 4.5 while Corsi’s rates only a 3.

    Come on, Mudpups, those of you who have read Dunn’s book, get on over to Amazon and give him some support! (And of course, get ready to do the same for “Blind Allegiance”!

  23. OMG says:

    A little side note from Arizona: “They loaded up the truck and moved to…Scottsdale?”

    “Rumor has it that Morty the Moose is about to be freed of the Wasilla Hillbillies, and the Alaska Disasta is about to become Arizona’s carnival sideshow. Do we really need another clown in the GOP insane clown posse? Sarah Palin buys a house in north Scottsdale?:”

  24. Cammie says:

    A little off-topic, but as it was mentioned in Ken’s post…to this day, I have no idea why Joe McGuinnis leaked the manuscript for this book. I just don’t get it at all. Has there ever been any sort of explanation, if not by him, from someone else that sheds some light?

    Regarding the actual book, it sounds like this one will have more teeth than the Dunn book, as it’s based on actual emails. I hope it gets more media attention than Dunn’s book did. It’s almost like there is a deliberate media effort to downplay both of these books, and I find that very worrisome. Really shows just how far the rightwing tentacles extend into our media today. Liberal media, my foot!

    • Lilybart says:

      Joe may have wanted to piggy back on the publicity for the Bailey book, to keep interest alive for his book. But he did do a public service in a way. IF the state legal dept had been able to kill this book or hold it up forever, at least the info is out there somewhere, saved by many during the “leak.”

      • Alaska Pi says:

        I think this is an odd take on Mr McGinniss’ behavior.
        In the rush to ‘take Sarah down’ people must be wary of of accepting all behavior by those they perceive as on their side as working toward a common good even if by default.
        Mr Morris contends that “Joe McGinniss… disgustingly described co-author Devon as “whoring” herself by working with Bailey.” That does not sound either altruistic or by defalt a ‘public service’- it sounds like a drumbeat to send notice to a perceived competitor that one is going to trash, undercut, or dismiss their work.

        There is a distinct movement in the wings already to dismiss Blind Allegiance by far too many who are NOT bots.
        The idea that Mr Bailey cannot redeem himself by telling the story openly is a piece of it as is the continued dismissal of him because he was a bot and contributed to the phenom which became whatzername unleashed.
        The unusual combination of authors is making more than bots nervous and one seems to be Mr McGinniss.
        Assuming all the pack rats who saved pirated copies of the leaked manuscript are serving as bastions of the public good turns ethics upside down as surely as SP did in my mind.
        Best wishes AKM, Mr Morris, and Mr Bailey. At this point I am more interested in what you have put together than any of the others.

        • johnny says:

          I don’t remember seeing that “whoring” comment in print. IMO best to buy all the books, so far Dunn’s is the best of all the already released, and I expect the new book to document and supplement what is in Dunn’s book, vice versa. I will definitely get McGinnis’s book too, and I really wish all of the authors would quit badmouthing the other authors. No offense intended, please, JMO, that all the books will complement each other and we don’t need any “whoring” distractions.

          • claire says:

            I agree. It’s not as if the Baily audience is different than the McGinnis audience or the Dunn audience. Like many, I’m buying all the books. As far as I’m concerned, all the writers (and bloggers!) are doing God’s work. Bless them!

            I see that there are a few links on this thread that discuss the Bailey book. Hopefully, it won’t get the Dunn treatment. Why is the Media ignoring the Dunn book?

          • Foreign Fan says:

            Exactly Johnny!

          • ks sunflower says:

            I don’t think any of the other authors are bad-mouthing the others. The only claim I’ve read about was McGinnis talking about the Blind Allegiance authors. I think we have to be very specific here.

  25. Molly says:

    Hey, you guys just sold yourselves another book!!

    Great foreshadowing, Mr. Morris….can’t wait to read the book.

  26. I See Villages From My House says:

    “I grew tremendously that year,” is what Sarah said of her first term as Mayor facing a recall with her own local paper saying she confused her inauguration as a coronation.

    Sarah Palin has never demonstrated any kind of growth or introspection, ever. She remains that sharp elbowed Wasilla Warrior Point Guard with thin skin, a tin ear and glass jaw.

    Frank Bailey still represents exactly the kind of demographic responsible for Sarah Palin’s rise and riches, but the fact that he hitched his wagon to you (AKM) gives me a comfort level. Maybe I can and will forgive him for being a thug, a Palin hatchet-man. But I doubt it. Redemption will have to come from God, not us.

    And BS, she won’t be able to resist spitting venom about your book, LOL, the girl just caint help it. She’s gonna be apoplectic with any and all of ’em publicity Blind Allegiance is going to get.

    • Laurie says:

      Really!! Did they attempt to recall her as Mayor? That certainly casts a new light on her job performance.

      • Bretta says:

        It was in the Mat-Su Valley paper, “The Frontiersman” according to G.Dunn’s book.

    • bubbles says:

      ditto on what Villages said.
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      also. too. now word on the street is that good old boy McGinnis is life-long buddies with none other than Roger Ailes. now we know.
      check out his blog if you want. i am not about to link to it.
      • ks sunflower says:
        That does explain a lot. I wonder if the whole Palin vs. McGinnis thing was a ploy. I hope not.
    Ya’ll stay cool now!
  29. Lilybart says:
    Congrats on the advance word for the book. I knew Dunn’s would be ignored until the avalanche of crap comes and then all the books will be source material.
  30. mike from iowa says:
    First news item on Yahoo News this morning was-former Palin aide pens tell-all book. Do you know anything about this?(wink,wink)
  31. mattie says:
    How many people know the names of Mike Huckabee’s or Mitt Romney’s children? Hell, I bet most people don’t even know the Obama childrens names. Palin whores out her children every chance she gets. How much money did People pay for the “wedding” pictures just released? I don’t think they were taken by somebodys iphone. But it is wrong if anybody else even whispers their names, which by the way, everybody knows.
    • LisaB says:
      I didn’t know both of Obama’s children’s names until almost a year into his term. “Malia” constantly eluded my brain. It’s unusual, but so are the Palin’s children’s names. Of course, it wasn’t hammered into me head day and night . . . .
    • Lilybart says:
      I have to stop to remember which one is Malia and which one is Sasha. Seriously, and I am a HUGE fan of the President and FLOTUS.
      My Gov is famous, Andrew Cuomo, yet I know nothing about his kids.
    • inOhio says:
      Didn’t Ms Palin just go on record making comments about the child of the California Governor? I thought the children were to be left out of politics, yet she felt compelled to make comments about how he runs his family?
      • ks sunflower says:
        Someone ought to shove some figurative fly paper into her ears. Maybe it will catch and hold some of the stuff she says so she can remember it long enough not to be such a hypocrite.
        Of course, that would require us to assume that she thinks about things. I honestly believe she is one of the least introspective, reflective people I’ve ever heard about.
        There seems to be no filter between her brain and mouth and no analytical mechanism at work either. I sometimes wonder if one of the reasons Sarah looks confused or stumbles over her words is because the echos in her head distract or startle her.
  32. Kath the Scrappy says:
    Chomping at the bit myself, I ordered as soon as AKM announced!
    My Sis will be coming at the end of June, here in Seattle on her way to AK Cruise, so I will be able to send it with her for her reading pleasure. So it will be double the fun.
    I had bought some other book by McGinniss for Sis at Christmas and she said it was so “dry & boring” she doesn’t want to read any more of his. Given his nefarious maneuverings and comments, sure grateful I never bought whatever ‘he said/she said’ crap Joe is offering these days.
    However, I bet Frank Bailey has plenty of interesting details with the help from AKM & Ken Morris to keep it cleanly dissected and right on target! So looking forward to it.
  33. jimzmum says:
    I am not a vindictive person at all. But I am hoping that this book, that so closely follows Mr. Dunn’s great book, will put a stop to this horrid woman once and for all. She needs to be dumped from Fox, and she needs to just fade away to the Arizona desert.
  34. Irishgirl says:
    The suspense is killing me. I really hope that the book absolutely destroys whatever shred of credibility she thinks she has and she has to hide out in Arizona for the rest of her days.
    • BeeJay says:
      Please I-G, not here in Arizona for the rest of her days! I’ll settle for her ending up somewhere in Texas… We have our own crazies to contend with, thank you very much, we really don’t need any imports.
    • Bev says:
      Problem with that is this: those that see her for what she really is will love the book and see the truth…those who are her followers and believe her will either not buy the book or buy it and call it a slam book.
      And it just will not count for the blind faithful.
      • LibertyLover says:
        That’s ok. Her prayer warriors will always be with her, just like Reverand Camping’s followers from the Rapture that didn’t happen.
        Thankfully, her stable of supporters grow less and less each time she opens her mouth.
        And I hope she does run, she will be utterly destroyed in a debate with more knowledgeable candidates from her party. She won’t be able to take their criticisms of her and her head might explode.
    • bubbles says:
      i am laughing so hard Irishgirl. i can just see you. LOL.
  35. ks sunflower says:
    George W. Bush once bragged that he was not an introspective person. We know what kind of damage such a person can do to a country’s domestic situation and international reputation. We do not need another incompetent fool – particularly not one who is even less intelligence (at the height of Bush’s eight-year reign of stupidity, I would not thought it was possible to get someone less able).
    Thank you, Ken, Frank and Jeanne, for your hard work and dedication to the country. We all owe you.
    I am looking forward to the arrival of the book!
  36. Lynn in Va says:
    Can’t wait for my copy
    to get here! In the meantime, Ms. P, may Ibesoboldas to suggest some bicarbonate for that firey belly thingy?
    • Diane says:
      I picture her as a nasty, fire breathing dragon, scorching the earth from Alaska to Florida. Maybe it’s an Arizona thing.
      I guess that Queen Esther image wasn’t working for her.
      Just curious, did she ever describe that fire-belly thing when running for Governor?
    • blondie says:
      Hah! I was about to suggest PeptoBismal. Coats. Soothes. Relieves.
